Article description:
This polymer lubricant is an outstanding maintenance and installation aid for seals and profiles made of rubber (EPDM) and other elastomers.
• Forms a lubricating film on the treated parts after application
• Exhibits excellent sliding properties on coated surfaces - the coefficients of friction
are reduced by up to 40 %
• Enhances the colour of treated surfaces
• Avoids contamination of tools and manufactured parts, which can occur when using
silicone oils
• No formation of stress cracks when treated profiles come into contact with plexiglas
or polycarbonate
• Coated surfaces are water-repellent and less sensitive to dirt
• Easy further processing (bonding, painting, printing, etc.) of neighbouring materials
Areas of application:
• For installing seals or window profiles, for example
• As an assembly aid in the construction sector, such as when installing seals and
profiles for aluminium, plastic, and wooden windows
• In the automotive sector for profiles of windows, doors, and trunk seals
Application:
Shake the can well before use. The polymer lubricant spray is applied to the finished part by spraying. The dosage rate is between 5 - 20 g/m2 and depends on the shape of the finished part and the application conditions. If treated properly, the coated profiles can be stored for at least 1 year. Repeat the application if necessary.
